Poor nutrition linked to disease
Dr. Rabb teaches healthy living
“The single most causative factor in the disease process is poor nutrition,” says Nathan Rabb Jr., Ph.D., who is on a mission to help the public learn to heal more completely, stay healthier and look and feel younger longer through eating and drinking the right things.
Rabb believes there is a science to eating right—what we eat, when we eat, and how we prepare our food makes a difference to our health.
“The wrong food combinations increase your body’s acidity and this allows disease to thrive. More vegetables promote alkalinity and disease cannot grow in an alkaline environment,” said Rabb. “One-third of the gross national product involves disease treatment, so of course you don’t see TV commercials telling us to fight off disease by eating to alkalize our bodies. Eating right would cut off a hefty chunk of the pharmaceutical companies’ money.”
According to Rabb, a plant-based diet can reverse clogged arteries. “You need enzymes. There are no enzymes in cooked food. Raw foods are healthiest. About 80% of the foods we eat should be raw,” he said.
Another way to help alkalize our bodies and fend off disease is to drink high quality alkaline water. Rabb has the ability to supply Kangen water from his office in Inglewood. As water comes out of the Japanese manufactured machine, it is split into an alkaline part that has extra oxygen and an acidic part that is oxygen-deficient, each part coming from separate hoses.
Rabb explains, “The acid water is good for your skin and for disinfecting things; the alkaline water is for drinking–this helps to alkalize the body.”
“Adjusting your diet is paramount,” said Rabb. “If a disease process has already started, it’s a good idea to cleanse your system to help the body’s immune system become stronger. The immune system is what heals your body.”
Other detriments to good health are parasites. “They interfere with proper digestion and the breaking down of harmful things in your system. You could tend to be anemic because parasites are eating up things before you get to assimilate them,” Rabb said.
And, protruding bellies may not be just fat. Rabb explains, “Anyone who has a protruding abdomen has a lot of waste built up in there, especially in the large intestine. If you recall, John Wayne was found to have had 30 pounds of fecal material inside his bowel, when he died. We recommend cleansing, because it helps remove the waste and jump-starts your body going in the right direction.”
Rabb has a Ph.D., not an M.D. He does not diagnose or treat anything, but he knows how to guide people in changing their diets to allow bodies to heal naturally, without surgeries or toxic pharmaceuticals.
According to Rabb, “Sometimes there is no way around surgery and thank God for the doctors in these situations, but you can still eat and drink the right things so that you can heal properly and not need more surgery and pills due to recurrence of the disease process.”
